Kraggar the Earthrender

Role: Tank / Crowd-Control
Description:
Kraggar the Earthrender fills the niche of a resilient tank boss focused on crowd control. While his attacks generally cover a smaller AOE than most bosses, he brings heavy CC to the fight, as well as an aura granting infinite interrupt armor to nearby allies. In addition, his stone exterior reduces extra incoming damage, making him take significantly longer to kill than other warplot bosses.

Ability Breakdown

  • Earth Armor
This persistent aura passively boosts Kraggar's nearby allies with immunity to crowd control effects. Kraggar also innately reduces incoming damage by 30%.
  • Granite Club
Kraggar uses one of his arms as a massive club, damaging, knocking down, and disarming enemies in a large arc in front of him. Players hit by this ability mush dash to their feet and pick up their weapon before they can resume attacking.
  • Earth Shocks
Kraggar slams the ground in front of him, dealing damage and knockdown after a brief delay to enemies in a ring  around him and in branching linear telegraphs aimed at nearby enemies. Depending how many enemies are nearby, Kraggar may shoot up to 3 linear telegraphs, each of which in turn may shoot an additional 3 smaller linear telegraphs from the target’s initial position. The more enemies there are, and the more spread out they are, the more area the spell can potentially cover.
  • Maelstrom
After a brief channel time, Kraggar becomes a whirlwind of rocks, chasing his primary target and damaging any enemies caught in the AoE. In addition, he periodically launches boulders at up to 3 nearby enemy players, which damage and knockdown any enemies caught in the impact area.
  • Rock Traps
Kraggar begins channeling, attaching 4 circular telegraphs to 3 randomly selected enemies. After a brief delay, Kraggar summons rock traps at the telegraph locations. The rock traps act as mines, stunning and damaging any enemies that enter the AoE. The traps despawn when triggered, or after a brief time.
